3D animation of the future for NEC electronics

3D animation combined with video footage was used to visualise the future role NEC electronics will play in our lives at a major conference.

Working closely with NEC summit7 created a future world that incorporated advanced technological solutions NEC had planned.

3D NEC

The key project features are:

  1. A fully drawn out story board to agree the content of a 16 minute animation.
  2. 3D models created from original product plans and then using imagination to visualise how NEC will be involved in the future.
  3. Full 3D scenes on a huge scale created 3D city scapes and future manufacturing plants.
  4. Integration with video and 3D to demonstrate scanning devices.
  5. All edited and presented for a large screen display for a conference in under 5 weeks.

Most impressive was the speed with which Summit Seven delivered high quality animations and the process they used to keep us informed at every step. During our industrial open day the final video was showcased and drew compliments from everyone who saw it."
